Nature's Traveling Interpreter focuses on your specific needs with the main goal of education and behavior alteration. I understand that not every program will work for every school, park or community. Creating programing that is relevant to your curriculum, natural environment, and audience is critical to the understanding and practice of outdoor ethics.
School programs will range from 45 minutes to 2 hours depending on class size, grade and timing constants.
This program will discuss what natural systems are affected by individual behaviors, how those behaviors can alter the natural lifecycle of plants and animals, why changing or improving our behaviors is the best solution to protecting our natural resources and spaces and the challenges of behavior change from the larger community above individual action. Students will learn outdoor ethics through the Seven Principles of Leave No Trace using gestural memory techniques for improved memory recall.
